THAT WAS AMAZING
Previously I didn't care for Brittany/Santana, BUT NOW I UNDERSTAND. Brittany just wants to have ladybabies! Santana warned Artie off her girl! YESSSSS AMAZING.
There was a Mercedes-Santana duet! YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW HAPPY THIS MADE ME, YOU GUYS. I've been waiting for this moment since 'The Boy Is Mine.' Santana's attitude is my favorite thing about her. GET IT GIRL. ♥
The Kurt-Rachel duet was fab and amazing and I don't understand why they're not bff. THEY WOULD BE AWESOME TOGETHER. I still friendship Kurt-Mercedes-Quinn, but I'm sure Rachel could get in there somewhere. Or just be Kurt's friend, I could work with that.
I just wanted to kick Finn in the crotch (sorry, Finn-fans. IT'S COOL IF YOU LIKE HIM THO! Not that you need my permission or anything~) but I always want to kick Finn in the crotch, so. NO BIG CHANGE HERE. (The whole 'your gay will ruin his reputation' thing? diaf, Finn. WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU. There is legit criticism of Kurt's inappropriateness and there is homophobia. This was the latter.)
BUT OVERALL VERDICT: AMAZING. A++, WILL WATCH AGAIN

Date: 2010-10-13 09:19 am (UTC)I was pretty ambivalent about Brittany/Santana before this episode - didn't really care either way if they were just having fun sexytimes or were ~~meant to be~~. Now I'm like YOU TWO ARE SO RIDICULOUS TOGETHER AND I LOVE IT. Also, BRITTANY AND THAT STUPID MEATBALL. OH MY GOD.
I really enjoyed most of the duets in this ep too. "River Deep, Mountain High" was amazing. Mercedes and Santana both have amazing pipes and I don't think they could have performed a better song for their voices. I also really liked Sam and Quinn singing "Lucky" - I'm normally not into Dianna Agron's voice at all, but the whole song sounded surprisingly good. And I basically had flaily fits at Kurt and Rachel's duet. SO GREAT.
LOL, Finn is such a toolbag right now. But I basically feel that way about him all the time, so.
In conclusion, I was very pleasantly surprised by this episode! But I guess I was always going to love it because of what it included: Kurt/Rachel duet, Mercedes/Santana duet, Brittany/Santana development, Rachel being crazy in a hilarious way, hardly any Will, Quinn/feelings and Kurt/fierce. Definitely my favourite of the season so far. ♥

Date: 2010-10-13 03:12 pm (UTC)The reason's obvy, though. SHUE WAS IN IT LIKE, FIVE MIN, TOPS. It meant we didn't get to see Sue, but I'm okay with that, if we don't have much Shue to deal with.
